Birding walk and non-hierarchal knowledge sharing space for women, trans (trans men + trans women) and non-binary people. All experience levels and ages encouraged! Bring your binoculars or borrow some of ours. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
Walks, taken at a slow pace, usually range between 1-2 miles and 2-3 hours. Every walk is different and each is catered to the unique needs of those attending. Please arrive on time but don’t rush, you can catch up. We’ll start with short introductions (name, pronouns and short answer to group prompt) and close out with an opportunity for community announcements, needs, events and questions.

9:30 am Meet at SE Insley St and SE 37th Ave to walk through Reed Canyon (Reed College Campus) wilder, single file dirt paths and/or meet us at
10:30 ish (We don’t rush, enjoy the birds) at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden (check the website for path accessibility) the garden costs $5 at entrance, if you cannot cover this, we got you.
